A música é composta pelos atuais quatro integrantes da banda, Ben McKee, Dan Platzman, Dan Reynolds e Wayne Sermon, além de contar com o apoio de Josh Mosser e Alexander Grant.
Lançada em outubro de 2013, Demons está presente no álbum de estréia da banda, Night Visions, sendo a quarta faixa do CD.
